There are a number of options to choose from on the market if you are thinking about buying a deep soaking tub. Japanese soaking tubs may come to mind, but they tend to be quite expensive. Fortunately, there are deep soaking tubs available on the marker that are priced at or under $1,500 if you are willing to settle for a smaller tub depth.
At the low end of the price range is the Sterling 71121122-47 Ensemble⢠AFD Bathtub. Both of these tubs, however, can be found online at a 30-35% discount.
If you are contemplating a whirlpool tub, there are a number of models available in the American Standard Evolution Series. These acrylic deep soaking tubs fall in the $1,000 to $2,000 price range and feature ten jets. Triangular corner models are available.
The Bennington Acrylic Rolled Rim Clawfoot Tub is a freestanding alternative, This deep soaking tub measures 61″ x 31″ x 26″ and has solid brass cast feet with built-in adjusters that are available in a wide range of premium finishes. This tub is priced from $1,195.95 at Signature Hardware.
Jacuzzi also makes deep soaking tubs. The Jacuzzi F943 5 Drop In Three Wall Alcove Soaking Tub is part of their Luxura Collection, has a contoured backrest and slip-resistant bottom and is available in an array of sizes. This tub sells from around $860 to $910 but can be found online from around $541 to $573.
